For at least 40,000 years before European settlement in the late 18th century, Australia was inhabited by indigenous Australians, who belonged to one or more of roughly 250 language groups. After discovery by Dutch explorers in 1606, Australia's eastern half was claimed by Great Britain in 1770 and settled through penal transportation to the colony of New South Wales from 26 January 1788. The population grew steadily in subsequent decades; the continent was explored and an additional five self-governingCrown Colonies were established.
Susan McFadden was born in Dublin, Ireland in 1983, to parents Mairead and Brendan. She has an older brother, Brian McFadden.
McFadden is a graduate of the Billie Barry Stage School, located in Dublin. Before appearing on Grease is the Word, McFadden toured with many Irish entertainers (including June Rodgers) in supporting roles. She was one of the dancers in Daniel O'Donnell's Rock & Roll Show tour and DVD. She also played the role of Kathy in an Irish production of Singing in the Rain in 2004 to much acclaim. The show played at the Olympia Theatre in Dublin and the Everyman Palace Theatre in Cork.
She is the winning contestant on the ITV reality TV show Grease Is the Word. As a result she played the lead female role of Sandy in the West End production of Grease with Danny Bayne beginning in August 2007.

Start your day of Perth sightseeing with a walk through Kings Park, which is larger than New York’s Central Park and home to the Western Australia Botanic Garden. More than 3,000 species of Western Australia’s plant life, including vibrant flowers, are on display here. Most of the park consists of bushland, which means lots of wildlife and quite a few walking trails.
After a morning of reflection in the park, head over to the Swan Bell Tower to enjoy a spectacular view of the city. Don’t forget your camera! You will notice the diverse nature of Perth’s architecture from this vantage point, including the modern glass structures and London-inspired Tudor buildings.
Perth tours are never complete without a ferry ride to Rottnest Island, affectionately called “Rotto” by the locals. This getaway is rife with opportunities to snorkel in the Indian Ocean, see wildlife such as seals and birds, and travel across more than 31 miles of cycle ways on a rented bicycle.
Once your feet are back on mainland Western Australia, visit one of the jewels, and ultimately what draws much of the Perth tourism: Swan Valley. This region has a landscape peppered with vineyards, no surprise given that growing grapes has been a long-standing tradition in Swan Valley. Following a short (or leisurely paced) day trip to Swan Valley, return to Perth and head to Hillarys Boat Harbour for a sunset dinner.

Queensland is proudly known as the sunshine state of Australia, and any time of year makes a good time to visit Brisbane (often called Brizzy by locals). Brisbane sightseeing is marked by parks, coastline, gardens, and more. Whether you want to play in the water or partake in some epic shopping, this Australian city welcomes you.
Start your Brisbane tour with a stop at Mount Coot-tha. The name of this mountain peak is derived from the Maori word for honey, which was once found in abundance here. While you’re at Mount Coot-tha, explore the stars of the Southern Hemisphere at the Sir Thomas Brisbane Planetarium. Next, visit a laughing kookaburra at Brisbane Botanical Gardens.
Don’t forget about the Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary, where you can visit koalas, kangaroos, and other local animals. Once you’re ready to commune with humans again, head to Queen Street Mall for the heart of Brisbane’s shopping. The South Bank is rich with free activities, markets, and a lagoon where you can cool off.
Spare some time to take the public ferry to Newfoundland Park, where you can visit the restored Brisbane Powerhouse, filled with art installations. To end your day, climb the Story Bridge, an ideal spot to watch the sun set over the city. Don’t worry, Brisbane tourism includes many fine and casual dining options.

On the last Monday of every month, Vatpac does something 'strange' to the Milkrun. Although every Monday is Milkrun Monday, The last Monday is Spilled Milk Run.
So for the last Monday in March, the controllers manned up Melbourne, Launceston and Hobart, and the pilots were instructed to "go south to that fair isle yonder" and head to Tasmania.
With the Capital of Tasmania, Hobart promising some great action for Jets, and the regional centre of Launceston capable of receiving A320's, 737's, but with some nice DH8D's in the schedule, I decided to head off to Launceston.
Halfway across the Bass Strait however, some funny shenanigans started ha

For this Vatsim event, I flew the Majestic Software Dash-8 Q400 DH8D available at http://majesticsoftware.com
In this case I used the Qantaslink livery which comes with the aircraft on install.
Every air traffic controller and aircraft you hear is a real person using VATSIM. For more information about vatsim, visit http://www.vatsim.net/ and http://www.vatsim.net/pilots/quickstart/
I use FSinn to connect to vatsim. (links below)
Matt Davies has a good tutorial on how to set up FSinn with model matching at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oK7ZC8QufMI
The last time I had to install FSinn, I simply used his video as a step-by-step checklist.
Speaking of Checklists, all insets, including charts, checklists and facecam have been edited into the video using Sony Vegas Movie Studio HD 11.0
During the flight, weight loadings, weather briefings and airway SID STAR approach and ground charts were read off a second computer/monitor.
The Checklists are the same ones included in the Majestic Software Q400 documentation that comes with the aircraft when you purchase it as a series of .pdf files.
Charts are available for free at the airservices australia website, www.airservicesaustralia.com/aip/current/dap/AeroProcChartsTOC.htm
Weight loadings and fuel planning was done using PFPX.

On the 21st of September 2014, VATSIM's VATNZ division (New Zealand) hosted their "Sunday Night Ops" event between Auckland and Melbourne.
Full Flight Plan (PFPX):
https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B25GjWrn0HgrWnlOdHMxbjNfMWc/view?usp=sharing
I flew the PMDG 777-300ER expansion pack aircraft from Melbourne Airport YMML in the Australian state of Victoria, to Auckland Airport NZAA on New Zealand's North Island. This flight features operations in Procedural Oceanic control (No Radar availability due to distance over water) along a 2-directional airway.
During this flight, I used the "All Blacks" special livery of Air New Zealand, registration ZL-OKQ From the PMDG Ops Centre. This repaint is available from the PMDG Ops Centre. An alternitave to this repaint made by Alex Farmer is available Avsim.com's file library at http://library.avsim.net/search.php?SearchTerm=air_new_zealand_all_blacks_zkokq_pmdg77w_goldstar_textures.zip&CatID;=root&Go;=Search
This livery is free to download, however it does require the PMDG 777-300ER expansion pack to work.
The PMDG Boeing 777-200LR Basepack is required Required for all further PMDG 777 product expansions including the -300ER. The PMDG 777 base pack can be purchased from
http://www.precisionmanuals.com/pages/product/777LRF.html
PMDG Boeing 777 Service Pack 1 (Requires PMDG Boeing 777-200LR Basepack) can be downloaded from
http://www.precisionmanuals.com/pages/downloads/updates.html
Both the 777-200LR Basepack and Service Pack 1 are required to run the
PMDG Boeing 777-300ER
Which can be purchased at http://www.precisionmanuals.com/pages/product/773ER.html
For the Weather Radar to work correctly, ActiveSky Next needs to have been purchased, installed, and running.
ActiveSky Next can be purchased at http://www.hifitechinc.com/products/activeskynext
All airport charts are shown on screen along with facecam.

This is our trip to New Zealand & Australia with our two kids (age of 1 and 5 years) during parental leave. We travelled a total of 8 weeks from January - March 2015. After arriving in Sydney, we first took a cruise with the Celebrity Solstice around New Zealand. Then we stayed on the north island in Waihi and Auckland. We had our first flight with an Airbus A380, from Auckland to Melbourne. In Australia we visited Melbourne, Apollo Bay, Adelaide, Kangaroo Island and Sydney. We stayed in private Airbnb places almost everywhere, which was a great experience. We returned to Berlin with so many great impressions, especially holding a Koala or feeding Kangaroos was amazing. We're so happy that we had the opportunity and the guts to make this trip. Preparation took roughly half a year but we don't regret it. You won't see our faces in Youtube but there are some details which will tell you that it's really us. :-)
Enjoy watching!

Flight Centre Celebrity Traveller: Duncan Robertson
Duncan Robertson, star and host of Duncan’s Thai Kitchen, has spent the past 25 years as a chef in a variety of great restaurants, hotels, catering companies, patisseries and fine dining venues throughout the world.
While you don’t need to be a rocket scientist to work out where his favourite destination for holidaying is these days, as he tells Flight Centre: “I have always had a deep respect for Thai people, Thai food and their beautiful country. I feel I have ‘arrived home’ with my Thai family, and have been cooking nothing but Thai food day in day out for many years now.”
Duncan’s Thai Kitchen is a culinary journey: a documentation of an Aussie chef who cooks Thai, travelling the entire country searching for inspiration. To be taught by the local people from tranquil beaches to bustling Bangkok and from Isaan in the east to the mountains of the north.
We put Duncan in front of our Flight Centre Celebrity Traveller camera to find out just what other travel experiences he can share with us, from being blocked in by a herd of Moose in Canada to ordering a type of sauce that would make your mother blush, and just why he has a love for cruising around the roads in Thailand.

Flight Centre Celebrity Traveller: Susan McFadden
International music sensation Celtic Woman returns to Australia in 2015 with a concert tour celebrating the group’s 10th anniversary and Flight Centre found time to catch up with one of its members, gorgeous Susan McFadden, to be our latest Celebrity Traveller and tell us all about her travel experiences.
Why does Florence appeal so much to Susan, the sister of pop sensation Brian McFadden? What’s her dream bucket list experience? Why did she walk out of a McDonalds in Germany? And where would she spend a weekend if it were her last on earth? Find out more in this latest instalment of Flight Centre’s Celebrity Traveller.
It was a decade ago that Celtic Woman first introduced millions of new fans to the group's fresh fusion of Irish musical tradition, contemporary song craft and state-of-the-art stage production. The 10th Anniversary World Tour showcases four gifted Irish women – three world-class vocalists and a brilliant Celtic violinist – whose talent and charisma bring centuries of musical and cultural tradition to vibrant life.
Find out when and where Celtic Woman is performing in Australia throughout September: http://premier.ticketek.com.au/shows/show.aspx?sh=CELTICWO15#Y52TAPgqjrVZfCWv.99

Sydney, Australia Travel Guide - Must-See Attractions
http://bookinghunter.com
Sydney is the state capital of New South Wales and the most populous city in Australia. Sydney's urban area is in a coastal basin, which is bordered by the Pacific Ocean to the east, the Blue Mountains to the west, the Hawkesbury River to the north and the Royal National Park to the south.
The most important places to visit in Sydney are: Sydney Opera House (among the world's most recognized landmarks. Set on the Sydney harbor, it is an unforgettable sight), Sydney Harbor Bridge (simply called "the bridge" by locals, courageous ones can even climb up the bridge), Bronte Beach (lesser known than Bondi, it is a beautiful beach, popular amongst families), Blue Mountains (an unspoiled mountain range filled with Eucalyptus trees. It is located 30 miles from Sydney, and there are plenty of hiking trails), Bondi Beach (Sydney's most famous beach, its lively promenade is as exciting as the beach) and many more.
This video offers a lot of tips to help you plan the perfect vacation. If you want to save time and money, the most important Sydney travel tip is to compare prices before booking a hotel room or a flight. You can do this for free on http://bookinghunter.com, a site that searches through hundreds of other travel websites in real time for the best travel deals available.

It is the second most populous city in the state, the sixth most populous city in the country, and the most populous non-capital city in Australia. The Gold Coast has the largest cross-state metropolitan area population in Australia, due to the inclusion of Tweed Heads, New South Wales in its metropolitan area. The Gold Coast's metropolitan area converges with that of Greater Brisbane, forming part of an urban conurbation of over 3 million people.
The most important places to visit in Gold Coast are: Surfer's Paradise Beach, Southern Cross 4WD Tours, Burleigh Heads National Park, Cheers Tavern, Gihooley's Irish Pub, Howl at the Moon, Liars Bar Broadbeach Tavern, Mybar, Wintersun, Melba's On The Park, and many more.

Cairns is a regional city in the far north of Queensland, Australia, founded 1876. The city was named after William Wellington Cairns, then-current Governor of Queensland. It was formed to serve miners heading for the Hodgkinson River goldfield, but experienced a decline when an easier route was discovered from Port Douglas. It later developed into a railhead and major port for exporting sugar cane, gold and other metals, minerals and agricultural products from surrounding coastal areas and the Atherton Tableland region. As of June 2012, the population is approximately 153,075.
The most important places to visit in Cairns are: The Great Barrier Reef, Skyrail Rainforest Cableway, Kuranda Scenic Railway, Daintree and Cape Tribulation, Dine and Wine at the Atherton Tablelands and many more.
This video offers a lot of tips to help you plan the perfect vacation.
